Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site. The target is WCAG 2.1 level AA. Last reviewed 2026-10-01.
What is in place
- Plain HTML with one top-level heading per page and headings in order; a “Skip to content” link as the first element; the page language declared.
- Every image carries a text alternative; the console screenshots on the home page have descriptive alternatives and captions, and everything they show is also described in words on the Features page.
- No JavaScript, no motion, no animation, no auto-playing media, no time limits. Every link and control is a native element and works with the keyboard alone.
- Text and layout scale with browser zoom and text-size settings; the pages reflow on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Colour contrast: every text colour on its background in the site palette measures at or above 4.5:1 (the lowest pair, link text on panel backgrounds, was raised above that threshold on 2026-10-01).
- Tables have header rows; code and commands are in text, not images.
Known limitations
- The console screenshots are images of a dense interface; a screen reader gets their alternative text and captions, not the content of every cell.
- The full licence text is presented as a long preformatted block, as the licence requires it to be reproduced verbatim.
- The statement is based on our own review, not on an external audit.
